Dealing with chipped chrome
« on: April 22, 2011, 02:29 PM »
RADsters,

There is a small (1mm squared) piece of chrome flaked off on the dropout on a pair of forks on my new build. What is the best way of sealing this and protecting the metal underneath?  ???

I was thinking of enamel model paint in silver to coat the bare metal and seal the edges of the chrome to prevent damp ingress and any further lifting.  :(

Does anyone have any better ideas, please?  :daumenhoch:

Thanks,

Clean.
