Agreed - also pet peeve of mine are people who buy complete survivors on t'bay, then split and flip 'em 2 days later on here  :police:

i hate that too especially the frame and fork thing. the reason they do i recon is to start a bidding war to push the price up , some people for may only need the forks and will pay a good price just like some one may only need one wheel ..

No idea who is selling, but I can tell you who is bidding  ::)

Bit of a strange one to split them up, but suits me as I've been after a single for weeks.  Seems a common practise in the States to split up frame & forks, just down to greed really knowing someone will end up paying more to match the right parts.

There was a NOS Hutch Hollywood frame/forks/bars that was split on ebay a few weeks ago, the guy selling it even sold the warranty card seperately.

Annoys me about the Masters or Sports that sell nowadays, they split the fooking frame, forks and worst still the pegs that came with it! so annoying  :tickedoff:
