Don't view it as crossing to the dark side.  Dialled's are a conventional design made from the proper stuff that all bikes should be made of (not that noncy ali or ti sh*te) and even with some OS wheels and bars will be a good ride but better still to do the job properly like the three 20s I've got; Profile hubs, Chris King headset, Profile cranks or Redlines.  Lovely!!     Humps

slight diversion from the whole bike, but my lad has a set of dialled bars on his bike and they are a lovely size and sweep. love riding his bike just for the bars
