Hi All,
I have not been on here for a while but I have this freestyler which reminded me of a Gen 1 Haro, but is obviously a copy. The are no stamps or serial numbers on the frame. There is a bit too much to do for me to carry on with restoring it at the moment so I have decided to sell it on for £175 or nearest offer to cover what I paid for it. I think it is a Falcon Freestyler but can anyone let me know what it is for sure ?
It has a Twin Top Tube chrome frame and forks with two holes drilled in to the rear drop outs, coaster brake tab and gussett very similar to a Gen 1 Haro Freestyler. The forks are all wrong for a Haro freestyler, they look more like Akisu or something of that type. The chrome is about a 7/10 for its age with no cracks, dents or rewelds. The rear drop outs are not perfect but are not mangled, the forks are in very good condition. There is a bit of pitting in the usual places, but this would clean up a treat with some Autosol. The rear brake bridge is perfect. The seat post tube is also a bit rough where the seat clamp has been overtightened. This would make a great rider if stickered up as a Haro for a fraction of the cost.
Also included are silver Shimano SX Pedals, Tioga 1 Piece crank and BB,44T Black/Silver Spider Chainring, Win Cro-Mo Stem, Headset and copy CW bars.
