To be honest, I wasn't everything I wanted to be when I was riding. Or even a fraction of what I wanted to be. It did however give me a chance to vent. It was never about anyone else. Sounds selfish I know. When I look back on it now, I'm stunned at how the BMX community treated me so well. I owe the sport a debt I really can't repay. Sounds reeeeeeeally cheesy I know. I was just a kid who was angry at everything ( Not the first, nor te last). BMX helped me channel the anger.Still not sure about riding again. Really having to think about it. I'm no longer angry (well most of the time). I'm intrigued to see how that will translate to BMX, but I'm still not sure. Im going to take a peak at the guys on the ramp at charlton soon (if they let me), and see how I feel.It did however give me the confidence to tackle just about most things head on.
