Look at these bad boy's courtesy of that well known bike retailer Halfords - Â£109.95 for an entry level race machine and Â£83.95 for a not so serious kids one

I dunno what Â£109.95 back then equates to these day....but it was a lot of wonga

It's a Mongoose Cali Jase looking at the rear drop-outs and forks, but the wheels don't look like ProClass. Bad picture really, but let's face it, no-one cares about the 'Goose

my mate had one of these pro burners with the gusset bitd. to be honest i had no idea it was so highly sought after and im pretty sure he still has it

i emailed him yesterday as i was just curious to how he had acquired them.he told me
i got hold of this lot some time ago when i collected a mountain bike from somebody.They offered them to me to get it out of their way.but not fully knowing its value and intended stripping everything and restoring it to relive my youth!
