Hey guys I'm back for good now  :LolLolLolLol:
But thought I'd throw up what I've been using for work over the last Year or so ;)
I've just modded the frame to take mx1000's just need to get some matching levers :)

Do the rear calipers reach the rim?  Looks like they're going to hit the tyre from the pics.   :-\

The bike looks really nice though...

Would it be possible to remove a link from the chain and slide the wheel forward to get better allignment?

Yeah they do line up ok. I had to make an angled washer to the them to sit right. As you say I need to shorten the chain and bring the wheel in but f*kin typical I've just broke my chain splitter ::) so I will sort it at the weekend ;)

Or get a really nice V brake.... John, it is a retro ripper so why not have a nice V-brake that works, like a Pauls components or a top end Shimano and besides, that repop caliper brake with those exposed v-bake lugs.....oh dear

nice that mate, i agree with the V brake comment......maybe look out for an old Avid Mag V brake, they're more a copper colour but would be cool  :daumenhoch:  frickin hard to find now though  :-\

Yeah I know v brakes would work better but I just like the OS look :)  and it's only used to wobble to and from work ;)
