RETRO RIPPER mx1000's??????

hey guys
not been on here for a while but looking to do a new build  ;)

my daily rider is a 2008 ripper and i have a set of gold mx1000 sat in the cupboard
i was going to see if i could get them to fit.

has anyone done it? can it be done? :)

Why MX1000s? You`d have to butcher the frame,v-lugs off & maybe drill the seatstay wishbone.Seems pointless to me,bit like running 1"threaded forks in a 1 1/8 headtube..
