Swapped over a pair of grips on a bike this aft used GT85 to put the grips on, left the bike outside for a while

Brought it in about an hour ago and lent it against a wall above a radiator, there's just been a loud pop and one of the grips has shot across the room...

Anyone else ever had it happen?

I tryed removing a very tricky grippy mushroom grip a few years back that just wouldnt let go of the bars, and stupidly i grabbed hold of the grip with my right hand then put my left foot through the bars, as the bars where not attached to the bike then POP off game the grip,it came off that quick and without any warning i punched myself in the face with the hand that was holding the grip and knocked one of my front teeth out

air pressure and heat - you traped cold air when putting them on and when heated up, the pressure has to move some where and pops off a grip that had lube to help it move

so fookin obscure this , tried it last night with some old bars ,stuffed down the back of the radiator no POP! for me though must have a seal problem ?
