I've always had a real issue with braking power, I'm using odyssey 2000 brakes with white mags, I've ditched the gyro as it wasn't helping matters but I'm guessing the only thing left is the pads.

What are the best modern brake pads I can use that'll do the job?

sticky pads. the rad shop sells them. give dave (stodgy) a call  :daumenhoch:

put super glue on the surface that meets the wheel rim :daumenhoch: might only work the once tho? :D

PS   if that fails? do what brum says ;)
