so the only difference is "1982 RETRO" marked in the inside of the rim - i take it this is where the inner tube sits ? and so the only way is to take off the tire and tube to see the mark !

When someone asked Ed about making alloy hubbed tuffs again, he told a story about the original riveting machine bursting into flames when they tried to use it after sitting around for 20+ years.

I think they're a cracking price for wheels which have the appearance of NOS 80s Tuffs but I can see somebody getting reamed further down the line. I'm amazed the badger hasn't snaffled the lot - I reckon he'd knock them out for a Monkey per set.

It was bound to happen at some point, I don't see it as a bad thing per se, but for sure there will be some peeps out to make a quick buck of them just like the new sealed bearing ones

Non Flange Tuffs = $86 Pair / Alloy Flange Tuffs = $199 Pair ?

Alloy flanges = $113 ?

The listing says 10 of each colour will be available but that might be a cunning stunt to create a sales frenzy...

There was 10 in stock this morning - there are still 10 in stock according to the site. I can't believe Cletus and his U.S. mates haven't bought a set yet.

i guess you could interpret that as planetbmx is only selling 10 of each , not that skyway is making 10 of each
