Mid 80's GT Race Shirt
« on: March 09, 2011, 12:14 PM »
Has anyone got a picture of the yellow mid 80's race shirts ?
I might actually build a bike this year instead of just hoarding parts :)

The colour Peter the colour  :D

Seriously Is it only the Chrome Pro GT frames that had the 4 stamped inside the rear dropout ?

The GT Pro 4 is what they were known as ,,and this advert shows why , I suppose

BTW great ad that Andy ,,where did you find that ?  :4_17_5:   ???

It will be hard to tell now as there will be a few people thinking " Hey my frame is a red one or blue one and this has a 4 stamped on the rear dropout "

The thing is though ,their frames  will be a re-powdered one , when  the original chrome has been to foooked to polish up , hence a coloured 4 stamped frame  :-\

Seems likely to me  :)

Don't be bothering with a mid-80's GT shirt. They didn't get tasteful until the mid-90s:
