Nic says they were 5 bolt but didnt take a standard chainring.
Have you tried a specialist Race bike shop?

i can find some about for mtb in the right bcd problem is they are soooo expensive .prokchop do really nice one too but still looking at 30.00 up to 45.00 for a single speed one which to be honest is too much money for me on a chainring.

Would it not be cheaper to put a larger one on the rear Greg?

Greg everyone was riding 44/16 in the parks and ramps till about  2002 ish

I and all the others were  doing drop ins riding the ramps at Ramp city on old school bikes with 44t in January 2011 without problems

although I do also have 25/9 on my N/S ride

It's not essential is it , sometimes it's good to be different

Diggler's park/trails ride (DIRTBIKE 28lbs +) has 44/16 and he does just fine , he's sold his new school park bike  :)

No need to catch your chainring  ???

been up the track today and had a blast in the bowl on the MCS no catchy ringy for me, 44/16  you just ride in at a slightly shalower angle, and a bit faster,       scares the shite out of ya  :daumenhoch:
