madness I know but this hobby takes a hold and that's it! That for sale section is a killer

This has been on my mind for a while Matt and should also include trips to Germany, MK events, travel to races etc. . .

However overall I think it has been throughly well wasted!

I'm not sure , somewhere between 20 and 30K gone out of my paypal for bmx stuff ,,
so more or less same as the average addicted collector on here who's not hen pecked .

Not alot in over 5 years ,,I could have spent the same on doing Golfs up and had a 5K car to show for it

So small change compared to the serious boys , the 50 to 100 K+ people

Long term collector will do over 20 K easy ,,,I bet Snav had double that in his shed and Meticulous's Loft ,,Poolysherriffs garage

far too much in the past two and a half years but only a fraction of what i earn so its kind of justified.i dont go out much these days so you could say its beer money thats not been spent,and i work for myself and pay myself peanuts each month which includes my bmx expendature in my monthly wage,so in summary still way to fookin much!!

yeh, probably £20-30k but it's still worth money, has done better as an investment than money in the bank. It's better than smoking it away or drinking it away and I've met some great friends and had some great times because of it.....and money can't buy that.

probably spent circa 20-25 grand too in the 6 years of collection, although have sold a lot in the past year...

my bikes were alll funded by the sale of my football memorabilia collection though which has netted around £30K in the past 5 years..... I'm down to the last few pieces, and down to 4 or 5 OS bikes too....

as retrogeezer said the BMX's have been a good investment, and a lot of fun too

Thankfully not that much at all. I've been quite lucky in what i find and where i find it. I generally scour car bootys and ebay for all the unwanted and unloved shit.

I'd be surprised if i'd spent 2k if i'm honest.

I know Christian, an MRD, a Rickman Pro, a Quad and a well rare Nishiki to name just a few mate. I recently picked up some NOS Haro Anlun pro bars for £20, i didn't need them but i weren't leaving them there for that.

Don't get me wrong, i love seeing some of the ££££ builds people do but i couldn't justify spending that sort of cash. Well, what i mean to say is if i did the wife would rip my balls off
