chain size bit confused

alright fellas   quick Q here for you technically minded bmxers

got some mid school builds im building up and putting profile ripsaw chainrings 44t-46t  on most of them   got 4 bikes in total, they all have freewheels attached ranging from 12-15t (i think) and need to buy some nice new chains to get the finished look once cranks are fitted

anyway, being mr simple i though all chains were the same..... but no    GREAT!

found some cheap nice looking chains at bmx city, these are alot cheaper than some others bmx city have so whats the catch???  free postage too!

so was gonna buy 4 of these     will these fit ok on those chainwheels?.... look perfect for the builds but need to know they will fit

They are extra-wide and likely very heavy. If you have any extremely tight clearances they are more likely to catch on something. Also may not be the best on 12 tooth rear sprockets/freewheels. BTW you do know that running gears like 46/12 might not be much fun unless you're built like The Hulk?

Standard bmx chain ring are 1/8 , rarely 3/32( roadie size ,, shimano freewheels take either  


But that chain says it's 3/16 ,, which is even bigger than normal so you should have no problems at all , as it states in the advert  

It does say not for use on less than 13t freewheels though

Besides this is a standard BMX chain 1/8 and it's even cheaper   

fine on a 12t freewheel

When I was a scrawny youth [honest  ] I ran all 3/32 drivetrain as did my brother to save rotating weight. Now even 1/8 chains seem to fall apart as soon as I ride them

Looking Good   I think we used Tuff Neck chainrings as they always had loads of sizes available.

the bikes are just for show anyway im 6ft 3 and 20 stone into bodybuilding so not only would i not fit on them but i'd also look a total tit aswell 

kinda similar to if i tried to dance..... theres just certain things us "big" lads shouldnt do and getting on a bmx is on of them
