Can the 3 piece bodies b seperated easily ? Has anybody had any success with this ?

Sent one of mine back to Bullseye recently to get a flange changed (long story but very nice people honouring the warranty on a 20 year old hub) they did it but don't know how easy it is.
Why oh why do I still buy kids bikes!
