well i have been total idiot got my new frame didnt really look at it closely just gave it to weston to paint it for me and started buying the parts to build it .got all the bits etc together then got the frame back yesterday eve .looked at the frame thought nice paint job but summat isnt right .got up this morning thought right time to build it .looked at it again and the penny finally dropped ive gone and bought a 14mm rear acle 13t salt hub and alex rim and the dropout on the rear are 10mm .b******ks .so is there anyway of changing the axle in the salt hub to 10mm or am i stuffed.what a plank .

get thread chaser you can cyt down axle if you dare slot it some come slotted them re chase thread to clean threads ive done it before if you are technically minded piece of cake.

my dropouts are minutely small they are only about 30mm width by about 2 inch long .

tech minded me not really i can tighten the wheel nuts up okay if that is classed as technical  :LolLolLolLol:

get a pict of the drop outs up please greg so we can see em
and im sure you can change the axle if its sealed bearings

you could borrow these but who i got them from spoked them up wrong way so i got to re build em.

can i buy a 10mm axle cassette wheel do they exist ,.the easy option would be to sell the wheel and get another .which would be a shame as its nice wheel.
