can Oven Pride stop working? i.e. not strip anodizing anymore
is their some types of anodizing that it can't remove...

worked fine for me in he past but the last 2 things haven't worked??? had the bottle for 3/4 months  :angel:

is it too cold? or too old?  ^"^ I don't know  :)

I don't think it will shift Hard Anno  :-\ i think that needs blasting off  :shocked:

I did some new school pegs and they were great but its not worked on a Dyno seat post ( mid school )  and old school Sugino spider???

could try a stanley blade to help hook bits off,  depending how much is left on the item

If it was a black Sugino spider, it didn't work because they were painted.  Get the Nitro-Mors out - might be worth trying that with the post, you never know...

It worked in the end ... 4 x 1/2 hour coatings and it was off  >:D

i've had to put nitromors on some anno bits in the past as the oven pride would'nt touch it.
dont know if it was a lacquer on it but once that was off the oven pride worked well.

defo works better at room temp so leaving it in a shed or clod garage slows down it's performance :daumenhoch:

last time i saw a seat post like that it had a Team Murray at one end and a young kid attached at the other ,   Cantley track about 82 ish  ,    crappy plastic yellow seat snapped , mind you, mine did too but i only got ring ripper,     his was well in there  :-X    :shocked: :shocked:

truth accepted.

I had it in the hoose for a couple of nights and warmed the seat post up as well ( see Snavs picture )  :buck2:
then it worked betterer.

go wilko mate, pick up some caustic soda..... make a weak mix to start, then drop your bits in! blasts it off in seconds.  :daumenhoch:

I take my bits to work, there's a tank of caustic for cleaning turbine parts and as you say seconds and it's stripped, sorry that doesn't help you :-[
