Hi folks,ok ive got the skyway tuff flex issue sorted thanks for yer comments
next up is ,what grips are you runnin on the old school rider, thing is ive got the run of mill ame tri's on mine which yep they look cool o/school but tbh they feel a tad hard and uncunfy riding now, back int day we ran mushrooms and the fortunates oak f1s proper soft and sticky.so it came to this ok its a rider not payin silly money for f1 oakleys,so fook it im experimenting with these, first up just bought these any good or not?

Stick with your Tri's bud and stop being gay - so they take a layer of skin off every time you take your bike for a spin, but they did in the '80's and we didn't cry about it then..... man up, or go home and do the dishes
But seriously, try Toadstools if you can't afford Mushies - they come up all the time, or Ami Rounds
Spen
ps - them SE ebay things look like your missus will be wondering where the batteries go in the new toy you just bought her.......

Same here ,A'me rounds on my O/S race bike , but I use race gloves , that's for when I fall off though
like Spen says SM Mushies or soft toadstools if they have to be Ol' school .
Loads of modern grips are soft ,comfy and grippy though can't go wrong with ODI's , get to a decent bike shop and try em out

Modern ame rounds on nearly everything i've had in the last 3 years, I like SE wing grips too, and i'm currently flirting with some shadow conspiracy things on a newer rider. Had some mushies last year, didn't like them as much as when I was 12!!
I prefer rounds to tris or cams though, for me, it is the grip that ticks all boxes, and the new ones are great for an os rider without costing £25.

got rounds to go on my banger, tris for the haro - no real reason like em both just thought the tris looked better as I like the slimmer profile on the ends
Tris worked out dead cheap from porkchop esp when combined with a few lightweight bits that didn't bump up the postage)
prefer both of them to mushies - never liked them bitd they felt too squidgey to me
if I was going to spend on OS grips would get sharps, had them on my bike bitd and loved them - unfortunately they're about £35 a go now (wish they would re-issue those)

sm mushies
but also like using big cheese grips, not sure what era they fall within, but the stars are hard and the grips soft, best of both worlds.....and they look pretty
