part 1 was easy, thanks to the tip about using a hairdryer to warm the old ones and pull them off
(the tip about using a credit card to get the edges up also very useful

part 2 - getting the glue off was a piece of cake thanks to the tip about using isopropyl alcohol and a clean rag

now part 3 was a right bastard, even using a plant sprayer to put a fine mist of water with a bit of fairy in it
small stickers went on without too much fuss, but the seat tube and downtube were very stressful  :D just when I thought I'd got it lined up perfect I'd press them down, only to find they were ever-so-slightly on the piss. kept thinking about the fact that one slightly spoiled decal would mean having to email Del (no spares adds to the pressure!)

I thought that I'd manage ok, my panini football stickers bitd were never ever outside the box  but it was a lot harder than I thought it would be - would never have done it without the tips mentioned above  :daumenhoch: All done now though - maybe a couple of very tiny bubbles but think they'll vanish and I think they look  :smitten:

Hopefully will have the bars and chainring back before the weekend and can finally finish build #1 - if it's sunny should have some pics up on Sunday  :daumenhoch:

how long has this haro taken  :2funny:

I'd say about 4 months, although had 90% of the bits very quickly getting the last few sorted has dragged it out
(But then I've already upgraded the bars before even finishing it!)

On a more positive note I'm getting quicker - mongoose should be ready at the same time (although sticking with rat look for now so can use it for Creation)

to be honest a bit of me likes the fact there are always just a couple of bits left to do, it's been a fun process and I can see how people can develop a 'just one more' mentality until it all gets out of hand

now if I had the space for an OS lightweight racer............

i love the pressure of putting the decals on straight,i always do it dry and as yet have got 90% of my 7 builds bang on decal wise, with the odd fook up :LolLolLolLol
i find its always the down tube that causes the pulse to race, they stick like poo to a blanket even with just a thin line down the centre stuck,i thought id messed up my cw decals last week but after realised that id made another top job and only messed myself once in the process :LolLolLolLol:

I'm just waiting for Sid to send the bars and chainring back and then you can have all the pics you want of the haro - not going to hassle him to get down to the post office as he's helped me out big-time

The mongoose (minus whatever paint job I go for) will be done on Sunday but don't expect it to look pretty  ;D
