what do you do with all that toxic waste when you've finished stripping etc

was thinking of putting some chemicals on a few of my mongoose bits, just wondered whether flushing stuff like nitromors down the drain is a no-no?
and hearing some of the resto stories on here I imagine some of the stuff you guys cook up in your back rooms should probably be encased in concrete

Paint stripping over news paper, screwed up in the bin.

Oven pride stripping in a bag, bag in bin.

Oven pride stripping in a tub, cover tub, add more and re- use.
