a ripper is one of those frames that works just as well with tuffs or spokes imo,
zippys with spokes

mine with tuffs

mine bitd with tuffs

Great first build  :daumenhoch: , I'd try the Ukais too . Ref black tyres which don't break the bank , search out some Cheng Shin Comp 3's  ;)

right ive finally got around to making some changes, went with the ukai speedlines, i tried the fat front tyre but prefer the look of two thin's, also changed the layback as i was warned they can snap ripper frames, i also removed the front brake and pulled the bars back (a bit) and added the dropout savers, i like it.  :coolsmiley:

a couple of questions though,
do i need the plastic shim for the uniseat?, it feels a bit loose in the frame and im scared of overtightening the clamp
im selling the front brake, whats a fair price?...all dc and nos  before fitting.

cheers.  :daumenhoch:
