It's always nice to see something different on a bike and a OPC is just that.  :4_17_5:

Flights are common, they're on most builds today but then they're iconic so why not. They're a lovely crank.

Personally i ain't got a clue  :LolLolLolLol:
One build a year, the only way to get it right. No rushing involved.

Would have to be the flights for me. We all did one piece in the old days, because thats what we could afford, would have had flights then If money was there!

Love the look of flights too.

there was only one reason why we all had 1 piece cranks on our bikes bitd, and it wasnt because they looked good....

 ::) ::) ::)

Oh here we go  ::)

Cue the cowboy boot pic  :crazy2:

The Aerospeeds quote is a inhouse joke with me and Diggs ( more him taking the p1ss outta me  ;D )

besides they'd look totally wrong on a Ripper wouldn't they  :crazy2:

If you wanted to go 3 piece but not flights and not break the bank ,it's gotta be Maxy cross like in the old Shiners advert  :daumenhoch:

Although I think Rippers look good with a opc

I reckon build guidelines generally should be

Race = 3 piece

Freestyle - 1 piece

Sam we didn't all have 3 piece at the time . People who raced usually had 3 piece  ???

Although I didn't hardly race back then , more your street , ramps and pipe kid, I had a 1983 GT with Suntour VX .(lthey were only around £40/50 as opposed to Flights at about £150/200 I think ,, I later changed to opc and powerdisc  :)}

but I did work  in my school holidays and some saturdays , only way to get a better bike , because my mum used to give me about £100 for christmas . So she got my frame and forks , it took all the previous year to get the rest of the bits for it . At the time I had a Falcon (my 2nd BMX ) , that came from the shop with a Takagi tourney 3 piece too  :shocked:
