Tobe Hopper and Speilberg's Poltergeist has a fat dude at the begining riding an old skool bmx with yellow mags and yellow chaingaurd. Nicholas cage throws out is old skool Dyno, when he decides to drink himself to death in "leaving las vegas" (dont think that is an 80's film though).

whats the one with the little alien fellow who looks like a scrotum?
"Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light."

Leaving Las vegas is a top class film. Only bad point is it has sting wrecking some lovely Jazz standards in the sound track. Nicholas cage at his best.

The Kos cruiser is actually a 26" Steve, but Daniel-San's bike in the film is a 24"

It's a mongoose "TwoFour" cruiser circa 1982/83  ;)
