:idiot2: I don't get that - One went on the bay two weeks back for about £400 - and that had the closest spec to the original - I agree a fast one is being pulled  :wtf:

I thought it was worth £500 but a lot of parts aren't correct (if that bothers you), mind you I reckon mine cost nearer a grand by the time I sourced/restored all the correct bits. :idiot2:

I think he slipped on the keyboard and added an extra 0.  £200 is more like it.

I guess its a case of 2k being what he wants for it as a reluctant sale , and to be fair , if you tried to build it from scratch its gonna cost a fair bit, the frames have sold for big bucks lately 400 quid plus , and some of the parts are rarer than a Essex birds hymen, so who knows how much thats gonna cost to build

ok ok i know its a burner

but market forces will soon make 2k for one of them the norm

the last team nos pro burner (still in the box)from the netherfield raleigh shop did over £700 a couple of years ago but £2k is a bit steep by £1k. nos rare stuff will always do the money while its in vogue.posted my nos hutch pro beartraps today and they did £500 on the bay a couple of weeks ago so maybe the silly season has just begun  :-\  ;)

I agree, I think the silly season is here now. Christmas is long forgotten now and with the better weather etc people are looking to buy for the show season etc. It does seem that more and more people are getting back into the old school BMX scene which will obviously push up demand (just look at how the rad membership has grown over the past 12months). Anything retro at the moment whether it is bikes, clothes, toys is fetching big money
