all I had to start with:
after stripping:
Most original parts sourced, NOS or restored.
Ready for build!!
anno done, poilsh done,powder done, stickers done.. I just NEED a seat!
NOW FINISHED!!! PICS IN TECH AND RESTORATION SECTION.

the chrome was good but a slight pitting around the GUSSET!, I was undecided for a while but decided to do it white as I can get powdercoating done by one of my friends cheep. I polished the tange 125 cups and anodised by Paul at CCA.
A chrome BYZ 501 will be coming next!!!

Looks fooking ace Sham, I haven't been this excited looking at a new build for absolutely ages. Can't wait to see it put together. Nice padset by the way
Us Yamaha boys have to stick together as there are not many of us around.

Before I got my first bmx I had a yammy BYZ, but it had a big mono shock spring thing and was well heavy - its was sort of bmxish, more grifter like.

me too, nice bike! Looks a lot like my first bmx, a Motobecane MX152 --- think i read somewhere that they used yamaha frames or at least were heavily involved with em
