don't know if this is in the right place but it has been a bit of a resto ,  been loads of fookin about making things fit together , sore thumbs and lots of    ,      ,        my ride for the OSR ,     had all intentions of more of a real OS ride but its ended up mostly being early Mid schooly ,  which is the norm from what i can gather, aside from that a very limited budget has ment more OS parts are well out of the question , i have built it in an OS fasion though by getting hold of cheap bits and robbing bits of my other bikes  ,  so just about ready for the big wobble

looks cool to me matey now the pic angle looks a bit odd but bars look tad forward and dont race with seqat too high either it hurts ya ass lol

Great to see the MCS! Apart from the F & F, headset and stem etc that has to be OS spec, then a lot of it is "in the spirit of Old School". A lot of the kit will be mid-school or repop but if you don't cheat to gain a big advantage it's all good.

As Greg says lower the seat and pull the bars back a bit, try and get out on it before racing and see what feels right...

yeah look at the bike fron the side and try angle the bars in line with the forks .ride it round a bit see if you can get used to it like that as its the best way of steering stops front end twitchyness and you have more control over the bike/steering if done like i said
took me ages to get used to bars like this but trust me long term its way better

I was tempted myself as it's a lovely F&F that I remember from BiTD wth guys like Terry Tennet racing it -  but as it's the same size as my Haro OS racer I didn't think there was any point.

cheers Greg    ,   yeah angle make the bars look more for forward than they are , seat hight is just for rolling around will drop it a bit ,  undecided weather to cut it in half or not     ,   she's gained a few pounds too, swapped the forks , had a problem with crown bearing seat, it's that odd smaller size on the forks and i haven't got a bearing seat that fits , so rather than risk damaging the forks swapped for some DB ones for now, crank set is no light weight either ,although its bomb proof , or rather fatty proof

mm the forks are original to the frame though what was the problem did u change the headset ?it worked okay for me .?

That looks like a decent OS Racing Ride to me 

Nice and long so will be quite stable if you're worried about being "wobbly".

Don't about not using original OS parts. The vast majority of OS Series riders don't give a shit - so long as you are in the spirt of the event.

not a problem at all Greg, the Bearing seat that fits on the forks wasn't a tight fit so when i nipped up the headset the forks would move as though the headset was loose  ? can just see the gap, the seat was loose ie i didn't have to pushed into place




 i swaped out the headset for chrome one and the seat was even bigger?        ,its only temporary , might sort it before the 30th  , mind you i'm still hung over from sorting out the seat post shim, took me 8 tins to find the right one
