199? chrome khe premium lager

hi all

new to the site and new to flatland bmx.i picked ths up off the bay last weekend and plan to spend some cash on it to bling it up a bit,id like to buy some chrome whells and flantland bars,then next on the list is a chrome 3peice crank and one of them ufo gyro's (who made them again).

here are a couple of pics of the frame how i got and then with a few hours elbow grease

looks well to me mate - not much of a mid man, but sure someone will help... 

Maybe put it back to its original spec rather than changing it - but that maybe old school side kicking in..

i do like a KHE    but if your geting into flatland i bet that weighs a ton    and i would look for a lighter frame imop to make tricks easy

i took the top gyro plate off not long back and measured the inside diamiter and it measured an inch.i wonder if it is a 1998 model then as the headset and forks are "1 threaded but iam sure iv'e seen premium lagers with 1 1/8 aheadsets and forks before

1" regular headset,you got 1" clamp on forks  jazzy beast ..should build up well.

yer i hope so fella.so far i have bought a ufo gyro,profile ss cranks,bb but need a rite hand crank,and i have a set of chrome wheels lined up so then all i will need is a chain,levers and some chrome flatland bars does any one have any suggestions for mid 90's  upto now flatland bars?

How about a pair of Graveyard ,Hoffman chocolate/love handles for the bars.Graveyards may be hard to source though,try on Global Flat forum someone may have some

hi all

just a few update pics,i still need to do a few more things to her yet like new stem,pegs,3 peice cranks etc.i swaped this like an idiot not long back but thanks to steven costa selling a modern flatland frame i bought that and gaveing that to my mate and in return i got my khe frame back.

comments welcome good or bad iam stil not sure on the year of the frame as i can not find any pics with the same lower gyro mount like m frame has?

1998 khe beater i had one and really miss it !!! i have a 1998 khe beater at the mo but its not the same :-( anyone wanna swap me a premium lagger (98) for a 98 beater?
