Iron horse bmx!
« on: May 02, 2006, 06:40 PM »
Found this on my post round today :) Anyone seen or heard of it before?

It says Iron horse klp on the front sticker, the frame number is klp b66102  , it has AP-25 Arai pedals , yellow san marco bmx seat and bernardi mozzi motor wheels.
Any info appreciated ;)

Looks like catalogue wreckage to me. The name sounds familiar - doesn't sound too light though, does it  ;D

Hi.

Pretty sure this is a Dirt Burner. I had one. It was my first BMX (83'ish).

Those are the original wheels. Broke mine doing a Miami Hopper.

N.B. for info came supplied with a yellow set of mudguards!

Cheers.

I remember a geezer called steve gratton who was sponsored by iron horse. he had a black one with euro bottom bracket and 3pc alloy cranks , he was quite fast and one of the first sponsored riders I ever saw.
he also had a bike check in bmx news as well, this must have been about 1980 I think.
