« on: May 02, 2006, 12:07 AM »
ok guys my raleigh syler project i mentioned some time ago, is on!!!!

i need some specific fresstyle bits to give it the correct look so can someone work me through the various components and tell me what a freestyle bike should have so far ...

handlebars - raleigh twin top
frame & forks - raleigh 'styler'
wheels - raleigh mags in black
tyres - ?????????????????????    - was thinking haro? or the raleigh ones that are on it which are street tyres found on streetwolf vektar etc
grips - black tange
headset- ?????????????????????  was going to use standard burner - should i encorporate a period gyro?
stem - ???????????????? standard SR
chainwheel - i was looking for a small toothed black one, something like a 36 or 39?
saddle - i need to find a dominator or skyway seat in black, someone mentioned a kashi trick seat - anyone help?
pegs or frame stands??????????? or combo???
pedals????????????????????
brakes??????????????????????

if there are no specific freestyle orienatate bits then i shall just use burner stuff but let me know guys
cheers for ure time
appreciate the help!

don't bother with a gyro. your brakes wont work well and your bars will be in the sky
use handles on the back and pegs on the front!
dont go any smaller than 39 tooth for the chainring. in fact you would get away with a regular 44
if you wanna ride it find some wellgo or victor dx's. if its just gonna be a period burner then some generic plastic pedals would probably suit that one.

they look nice (unlike mx1000s) and have better clearance.
