1978 Robinson project.
« on: December 12, 2010, 03:43 PM »
Well I've been after a Robinson cruiser and can't find one  :'(

And I was talking to Dubber at ramp city on friday saying I didn't know what I can do next apart from the mini robbo i have on the go .

Then  ::) last night I spoted this part of Robinson and early BMX history . These are rare as fook and i wonder how many If any there are in the UK.
Think I'm going to keep it White . another job for ( SBD )  :daumenhoch:

The holy Grail of Robinson's a 1978 gen 1  :smitten:. It's gonna take some work . But it will look mint amongst the rest of my robbo's

I can't wait to get my hands on it, and start looking for parts

Hmmm... that BB does look a tad too small, maybe its one of the cheap re-pops that were floating about a few years ago...    :coolsmiley:

That's a great find...! Personally I wouldn't want to remove the stickers.

Maybe not a '78 ( :yahoo_silent:), but I'm working on my 1979 Robinson at the minute.
I've got all the parts ready for resto, should hopefully have it built early in the new year.
