Yin - 1994 Dirt Bike
« on: November 23, 2010, 11:44 AM »
Finally after what must be a year, here are some gash photos of my still not yet complete dirtbike.

I've spent far too much on it, sourced bits from all over the world, from every internet forum out there (but that's all part the fun ;))

I have a Shield seat sat on another bike atm which could make its way across, unless some kind soul out there has a black GT seat they fancy parting with.....

This has been a real labour of love, collated and built in my office away from SWMBO's eyes and with lots of help from people on here.

I'll post better photos when it's not pishing down with rain!

Ah cheers guys, thanks for the support  :knuppel2: ;D

OK, so all of the photos were taken on the 700 yards it takes me to walk from the bike shop that cut the brake cables to my office.  Frankie 'The Hitman' Styles is the artist who painted up the mothers day flowers btw and it was absolutely pishing down so the photos were done in 30 seconds flat.

Why go to the trouble with no seat and why the carp pedals?  Well I was so excited to pick it up and it looks fookin amazing and it's been a year in the making that I though sod it, let's get it up as is.  Plus I thought a few of you kind people might be able suggest/sell me a seat/pedals.

i thought i recognized the piece, its beautiful.

not that that pedals are carp at all, they just scream "new-school" being clear, pretty sure its a mid school design tbh...
stand by the ad though, only because its a pet peeve of mine, as soon as i see the bolt on pads my blood pressure rises,
but hey, if you like it, then its the best bike in the world,

thing with the seat is,
the pics work so well, if you put a seat on and snap the bike in the same place it'll lose impact as we know whats coming,

nice build though dude,
ignore me, i'm a class A twot, :daumenhoch:
