if they're cheap enough i will buy one to put on a Burner of mine but the one thing that annoys me about these seats is you have to tilt it back slightly so the rear end of it doesnt dig in to your arse

Not pretty seats, but i think its great if they are being re released for Burner enthusiasts. The black ones are really hard to find new and were stock on the ultra and supertuff mark 2's.

Mmm, debatable, as a racebike you're are totally right, just awful, bad geometry, too heavy etc etc, however, as a streetbike perfect, affordable and very robust (you can't kill them lol) well suited to paper rounds, riding to school and wrecking around the estate or cul-de-sac, lets be honest most kids didn't need a bike you could win races on but one that could be really used and abused and didn't fall the bits, money was tight.

I understand that, as i had a MKI but they were so poorly designed you couldn't do anything on them other than the odd jump or endo, the Geometry was just so so poor!  i actually don't mind MKI burners for pure nostalgia but the MKII should've been so much better as there was so much more out there to get design ideas from.  it was a complete POS! in my view and they just look wrong on all levels.

You're right, unless you were a damn good rider you couldnt do anything on them, it's hard to understand how Raleigh got it so wrong but they did and IMO they contributed to the fall in popularity of BMX in the UK, especially by offering it up a F/S as a Styler, why they didn't follow Schwinns example, who were a similar company baffles me now, just piss poor management I guess.
