Headset Bollocks
« on: May 14, 2010, 02:49 PM »
I took a punt on this but turns out it's not suitable for BMX. I don't know if it's a complete set or made up of different parts.
Stamped Specialized, 1" threads, Tange Bearings, Sealed. Box states: Tioga AL-2 Duraluminum. Any thoughts?
Whatever it is, it's no good to me so it's for sale if anyone wants it. Just PM me.

Yeah, I think you're probably right, it fits loose in the headtube :(

Those pitted races would be a bit 'grumbly' if it was for a rider.  Would be fine for show, though...

I've had the same thing with an Odyssey pro headset. Although they also can come with BMX adapters. It might also fit a scooter that all the kids are on nowadays, They seem to have the smaller size 1 inch headtubes.
