it cannot be hard to re-produce these if you have the tools, a plastic mould, some metal rails and decals....

   and £500 for your trouble,  its gotta be worth it!

Same as ALL the black lightening bolts , Kuwahara grips ,etc

There's no reason why there isn't a fair stock load in the far east as after all it's where they were made bitd

On the other hand , yes it's the biggest area in the world for counterfeit repops

But Just one bike shop alone in the UK ,namely Shiners has been supplying MX1000's ,suntour stem , blah de blah on here ,on Ebay ,to Alans , skatepool etc,etc

and they've STILL got shedloads left , but just filter it out to keep the prices level .

They haven't got a repop plant in they're warehouse .

This is just a bike shop in the relatively small U.K

So I think there me be quite a few bits in the East,,,yes ?

After all I don't think that many sell , especially at that price ,,they just get relisted

There is (was?) in fact a few bits quite all over the globe.

But if you read too many US forums, you might become suspicious about anything that comes from another country

The only seats PROVEN to be repops are the Dominator seats that PorkChop has had produced, the Elina's and Kashima seats are only speculated to be "fake" mainly by paranoids who fear their "investment" might be damaged by an influx of possibly genuine parts from a foreign country.  The so called "fake" Elina's are as far as I can tell so perfect that they cannot be distinguished from the so called real thing.  Kashima are still making the Aero seats so they don't even qualify as "fake" or "repop" as some might call them.

Too many people have bizarre idea's about what gets repopped/remanufactured, the other day I read some guy asking iof someone was repopping Mongoose TwoFours as there was one the gayBay with no serial number  .

However, that price is excessive but as the investors in our hobby know, the only way to make money is to charge high pirces  .
