Black chrome can also be plated in the same way and still have similar characteristics to the bright chrome. For aesthetic or anti-reflective applications, it may be preferable in some cases. I have not yet used it, but the formula is as follows

quite true, -the biggest thing being chromed would be a frame

I looked into this myself a few months ago... The chemicals involved and subsequent waste products are not nice. >:D

the waste products include haxavalient chromium which i belive is the very stuff that poisoned lots of people in the US. Erin Brocovitch stylee. Home chroming..you're gonna lose the function of you pen15 for sure :idiot2:

I've sourced a pretty good chrome shop in the south east.

It might be worth while trying to get a fixed price list from them.

Sorry I won't give out the details because I'm only just building up a repertoire with them so I don't want anyone messing things up.

But if there's sufficent stuff and we could sort out some network for shipping stuff, it could possibly work, certainly a lot cheaper to do bulk then one offs.
