are they from dia compe, or some john de bruin  asshole special.
some tit will have them in bike of the month though, with re-issue profiles and re-pop hutch pedals, re-pop b1b's, re-pop comp3's, etc.etc..
about as old school as a ps3 and 3d tv's
Can't see the point me all seems badly thought out like most re pop stuff so far. Think all the old nice bits should be left alone.

So what are we missing now to make up a complete retro bike that's made by the original maker using copies of the original piece?

I can do you cranks, frames, bars, grips, tyres, pads, seats, pedals, Tuffs,

Can anyone do me...

Stems?
Alloys wheels?

MX1000's, yeah,  but no levers.

Instead of alloys you could use the re-release tuff wheels Bob :)

The one thing they can't copy is US and our memories of what went down back in the day  :daumenhoch:

it's just a cash-in thing - them seeing the prices that have been pushed up higher and higher by demand or the control or parts by a new bread of seller that has no history with the item and only sees it as a commodity

it seems like we use to have control of prices and need for parts - but it has now been overtaken buy a greed of money and not a love of lifestyle

some of the parts may have been reproduced for a good reason but most are now just jumping on the band wagon for profit

to what we use on rides and weather it looks right or is acceptable will be seen

we will always hate the fact that others are cashing in on a scene that we love - as for the companies that we admire for producing the product in the first place now cashing in onthe act - well life changes and not always for the best  :-\

cheers B  :D

jeez, they are bad aren't they!!

Chang Star made good copies back in the day and Lee Chi as already mentioned so what happened to their tooling??

I bought some good black copies off (can't remember who) a few years back.
