N2CUS that was banned from here once used rit yellow on doing some skyways for a tuff burner resto he did over on burnerworld and they turned out some horrible orangey colour. If your going yellow the dylon golden glow is the only way to go. Rit seems to be ok for the other colours though.

The build was a good standard but the wheels didn't turn out too well. Beard did point it out too.

Looking at this page on the Rit Dye website I reckon Golden Yellow is the colour needed:

Yeah, their website and brochure are misleading with the colours as they look a lot lighter in print than in reality  :tickedoff:.

these were golden yellow rit dye

the pics a bit dodgy :D
when they were done they looked feckin horrible, i used 2 packets and the mixture looked very weak, if i was going to use this colour again id use 3/4 packets, if you do use this colour dont blame me if they turn out nasty >:D

Can you not bleach them back to the starting colour and have another crack at it?, I know you cant bleach a `real' colour, but i'd reckon you could bleach out a dye.

If you want the perfect yellow I would recommend sticking to Dylon Golden Glow  :daumenhoch:

This is a before and after pic  ;)
