Advice please

Right then, I should be getting my frame and forks back at the end of the week and I need some advice on a headset, it's a Curtis pro build and I would like to fit a black headset. I have got one of them cheap NOS black ones to fit but I don't think it will do it justice, what do you experts recommend ? A locking one would be good.

add a black suntour or tange headlock to the cheap nos black headset, it will really set it off

You can't beat the Bear Trap II, it's not black, but they are the best old skool headsets

I did see that one on the bay, really wanted a black one to break up all the chrome and polished alloy, what makes did them in black that were any good, I can't even find a black locking nut!

you could look out for a tange LP125 in black..... but there pretty rare now, or fit the black headlock as stated by rooski, they pop up every now n again!

You could go for a Hatta, I know they do them in black and there ok
As for a Tange LP125, I've been hunting for a black and chrome one now for gettin on for 2 months and still no luck...expect to pay 3 figures for a NOS

just found out the postie brought my beartrap today, so finally get to join the forks to the frame 

imagine I'll be on here later for advice when I get stuck, never fitted a headset before!
