Anyone else see this article in the Observer magazine a couple of weeks back?

Great story and what a top bloke Maximillion is for sorting Brian Blyther out. Nice one.

Nice bike but looks like it could do with some repairs - a flat rear tyre and also no chain.

He rode it a little, then chose to ride a FB one

His FB one got robbed while sporting the wheels of the 24kt TS

He got that frame back.

But never the wheels

Hey guys i saw this story over on the V a few weeks ago and Maximillion wrote in and said that it was a replica. He also said that the magazine just moved his story around so it would sound better so that is why it is stated that it was the original. If you do a search on the V im sure the story will still pull up. Aaron

that's the bike that VBMX were raffling. Someone won the bike but sold it to this guy, who in return paid Blythers medical bills - or at least that's if recall the story right... search on VBMX and the thread is pages long, not quite as long as the Firebird thread (RIP) but nearly.....

ah, so that explains it. I rememeber that it was raffled, but couldn't understand how he managed to "win" it.
