All good Bill - looks like we will have a good bit of cash left over to go to a charitable cause as well... I was thinking the Stay Strong one but once its all done & dusted I will see what everyone thinks on what should be done with it

Ed just saw that powerlite on ebay went for £12.50 ! might just have to have a nose around again for a substitute (need a little bit longer before the haro's ready)

Good and bad news... just got this email in reply to asking about if the 'skate only' section was included...

"All is in place for the 15th. We currently have roof repairs happening and it is a possibility that some areas of the facility will be closed off. The skate only section is not included in the private hire cost ( this is normally an extra £ 80.00 per Hour ) but I can make this section available to you as a sort of compensation for the areas that will be shut off due to the roof repairs. I will only know a little closer to the time exactly which areas will be shut."

I asked for more info on what would be closed and what impact it would have... waiting to hear back. To be honest, as it wasn't included, I'd rather we got 'actual' compensation if parts are closed, rather than get access to something very few of us will use... $:-\$ as has been said by many peopl who know the place it is a big space so I'm positive it won't have a big impact on us... apart from Glen maybe who, from what I've seen, usually lands a good football pitch away from where he took off

wouldent worry about the skate only area think you would be bored after 10 minutes in there

it is a big place i am sure there will be something for everyone to ride

I'm still up for this......but the bowl is the only bit I really like....so will decide nearer the time.

If I was organising this event I'd be a little concerned there's more pay on the night riders than actually paid, looking at those two lists I don't think there will be 40 paying riders
to cover the costs on the night.
(in my experience of the novice nights a high proportion of pay on the night dudes don't show, hence i always had enough cash to cover the costs in before the event)

Why are those riders paying on the night if they are committed to coming? I would suggest 99.9% of people on here have a method of payment either paypal or a debit/credit card which you can use to pay on paypal.

Ok, sorry to be a Pain in the Arse but heres the deal...

We have 21 people paid and 24 POTN... if a gaggle of Pay On The Night'ers are a no show then I will lose out on this.

If you have said you will pay on the night can you pay in advance if you can to put my mind at rest.

( I should never have mentioned about the bowl maybe being shut

)

This is not having a go at anyone or anything to do with trust issues, its just if you pay you are more inclined to come, if you don't you still the option not to turn up, but I don't have an option about paying

understood Ed - I know I said once I confirmed I'd pay regardless of whether any 'external forces' (weather) stopped me from coming, to prevent you losing out
appreciate however that you only have my word to go on

will ask mrs griff to sort it when I get back from work as I don't have a paypal account
