These are some pics of an unidentified freestyler that russ j on bw once built for riding a round on. He had the candy red done by FHM reader. The pics really don't do the finish justice tbh. The chrome was in great condition, that deep sort of metalic effect just looked so lush. You just can't quite get it looking that good on the silver paint base. If you want that lush red your only going to get it over chrome. Even if you had to wait to save up the extra for the chrome then powder the finish is worth it imo. If you keep the bike forever and want to change it's shoes and socks one day at least you have a minty protected chrome frame underneath.

OK so this morning the 2 seatposts (again thx for supplying ED209) came back from SBD

I've think I've made my choice as to what route i'm gonna take with this but I'm gonna see wot you lot think

One is powder over chrome the other is Dans silver chrome powder as a base and the colour over the top.
Which one do you prefer left or right???

I do hope so mate, its taken a fookin age just to strip the frame and bars back to bare metal, just started polishing the raw frame so the chrome looks

The Mrs has said that I wont be building anymore for a while cause i have a 3 month old. Just hope I can do this one as well as its in my head

Not much of a decision really on this one. It just shows how much more lush candy looks over chrome
