i'm in love.............. with my mike buff z rims

well maybe in love was too far but i really like em,,always been after a set of these but always just missed out and just by chance got these, just started cleaning them up i like em as they have orig hubs and decent original survivor nick, cleaning them i have found is a matter of elbow grease i always thought they were white but they are a sort of ivory cream, just need a wacky frame and forks now to justify these

I got an identical set here.  had the rims in bleach for about 6 weeks.. and you're right, they aint white.  I got some normal z rim decals so i gotta fill in the mike buff sig myself somehow

its sort of impressed in , i'm just going to clean mine up best possible they'll never be minty mint but i don't mind the survivor look, they are hard to get i have been looking for about a year and always just missed out

got 2 NOS sets and they are both off white and both have been bleached. Nice rims.

Got these...... Not Mike Buff's but Fred Blood signiture edition Z'eds. N.O.S rims, N.O.S spokes and N.O.S Z hubs, the rear has'nt even seen a sprocket 




Just cant find anything to put em on as there a turquoise colour  I suppose it would have to be a custom build. One of my favorite N.O.S parts

I've done nothing for the last few months.  I ordered the spokes yesterday and the hubs are about to go off to be powdered.  Del sorted me out with the normal z rim decals but not the signature ... its deeper anyway so am just gonna get a fine pen and try get it right
