That nearly brought a tear to my eye, soppy old got i am. Charging down the suicide hill at Chorley will always be one of my fondest memories of childhood. That thing was huge when you were a bit taller than Spen 10 yr old!

our Pete's classic crash with Dave Thomas in the 16's Final...they jumped on each others bikes when they picked themselves up.  ;D

Earls Court '82
My dad with the legend Stu Thompsen

...just see me in2nd behind Ritchie Bookc0ck in the 10's final after Scott Barber caused a pile up on the 1st corner.

Loved the Earls Court Internationals, felt like BMX had gone huge at that point.

Now in Pro-Lite colours, No 15.

Did any of you guys race at the track at Bexhill-on-Sea (Bexhill Burners)? You might be able to spot someone in the background of this picture? Please ignore the jumper my mum knitted me for racing! I only raced one year in 1985 on a 2nd hand night burner. I gave up after one year as I got into white water slalom canoeing and ended up paddling in the British team.

I've done a few kart races at Buckmore. I never knew there used to be a BMX track there!
