97/98 GT Vertigo *DONE*
« on: October 03, 2010, 08:58 PM »
Well it looked like it was gonna be a wet weekend and Saturday morning saw the arrival of some sweet pink & black custome decals from the Man called Del so it was time to strip the bike down and get the rattlers out.

To recap I got this bike for £45 of ebay an gave it a clean but I've just been riding it while the weather held.

Built myself a little spray booth in the shed and dug my mask out and got busy on the frame with with black enamel.

Got the final coats on this morning and broke out Del's decals after lunch... fookin SWEET  8)

then it was game on and got building around the other tasks of the day.

The chainwheel and crank that were on there were dodgy but I've got a GT chainwheel that James Voivod gave me that I need to dig out.

So thats where we are... I am well happy with it as my rider and my Mother-in-law thought it was Proper BO!
