Here's a pic of my first proper BMX. An MCS Spider with Z-rims. Got this one because, well, it was the cheapest "real" American made BMX frame back then. Pic is taken at Van Zeggelenplein in Haarlem, the Netherlands.

Sorting out the attic with all this free time on our hands found old pic back in summer ‘84.
My Our school Barry boys middle comprehensive had arranged a bmx race but  ::) it was a all seasons with guys using racers , bombers, grifters who was winning as it they had gears . The bmx’s was losing as it flat race peddling flat out with guy on Olympic over taking you . It had two down hills and a flat grass track about half mile long  :LolLolLolLol:
Myself 2nd rider on my borrowed Bro tuff burner as my ultra burner was being replaced under warranty due to a snapped frame.
