85 Haro - Spoked Wheels ....
« on: April 19, 2006, 06:57 PM »
Bit of advice needed here, I'm building an 85 Haro Master and have some excellent white Skyways courtesy of Minihaha
(cheers Steve  :daumenhoch:).  I'm looking to have this as a rider to a certain degree and wondered what the thoughts are as to what spoked wheels I could use while trying to keep it reasonably "period".  I used to sometimes run with a set of Araya 7W (Aeros I think) 36 spoke bitd and had some Z Rims too (bit flexy even when I only weighed 10st!).  I would like something in chrome but again, not sure how this would fit.

What do you guys think I should go for?

thanks  :daumenhoch:

White shine sides with stainless steel spokes and polished hubs, yum!   :daumenhoch:

Know anyone who's got some to sell?  :LolLolLolLol:

Don't mention it Marty . . . glad the Tuffs went to a good home mate  ;)

I'd go for white Ukai shinesides too . . . they'd look sweet with stainless spokes and blue hubs too which will contrast well with your other blue parts

Here's a set on my TA

Rudewheels was the cheapest place to get Ukai rims but I think they only have silver left now

Cheers

Boy, sweet bike and those Ukai's do look good!  I think I might be able to get a set from Alans for around the £100 mark fully built.  May have to wait till the end of next month for those  :(
