Iconic UK Tracks/Parks....
« on: September 24, 2010, 12:44 PM »
Was having a chat the other night about the "Must ride before you die" Parks and Tracks and wondered what would be on other peoples list...for me

Parks:
Harrow
Rom
Southsea

Tracks:
Preston. Done
Chesterfield. Done
Bullwell. Done
Leeds/Bradford. Done

There were many more but sadly they have long gone.......Birmingham etc etc  :'(

So they didnt make the list
I might actually build a bike this year instead of just hoarding parts :)

harrow and rom are the last 2 skateparks i must ride before i die

will be going to harrow in a few weeks

and after 18 years of riding southsea i still love it and ride it 2-3 days a week finding new stuff lines/ideas etc...

always regretted not riding leigh on sea and the old brixton/stockwell park

loved riding the old birmingham indoor park with the 30ft roll in to huge foam pit

northampton skatepark when they had the bfa world qualifiers in the 90's, watchin gerry skying over everything :coolsmiley: :coolsmiley:

rob ridge's trickfactory, rode it twice in the last 2 months great place to ride if you have a few mates with you as its nice and quiet and you can have a good session

Surbiton was a great track - but that water jump stopped me from pretty much ever jumping again after a major crash there once.

Also another great track was Brettons, it's still there now, but the jumps have been removed. (It has a really long, steep 1st straight which made you hit the massive 1st berm at warp speed!)
