Let the fun begin, updated - 29/1/11
« on: September 16, 2010, 08:54 PM »
Hi peeps,

did a bit of wheeling and dealing with youngy to obtain this frame, I am sucker for all things sad (the frame not youngy  ;D).
Someone had welded a later brake bridge to the rear forks

The welds were extremely well done so I had my fingers crossed that the damage caused by this was only minor..

Stuck a new disk in the old grinder and went for it...

well happy with the results  :)    Just need some forks now - anyone got any, cali of tange pinch jobbies?

Must have missed this thread Sid  :-[

Nice work removing the brake mod mate  :daumenhoch:

That "03" on the brake bridge........

3 x 84 frames with it stamped
1 x 85 frames with it stamped
1 x 86 frame with NO stamp

so..........

fook knows  :LolLolLolLol:

Snav as for your cali's not being stamped mate - you may not have spotted it because on all of mine bar the 85 the stamping is on the underside of the plate  ;)

As for what it means........

 ???

Joff - those 2 guards mate - had to let one of them go......

caught him fondling the NOS grips in the middle of the night !

mongoositis - an expensive disease......

::)  I keep changing my mind between black and white mate, I just think black will look cool with loads of little white bits, like the: cali pads, pro neck and seat clamp etc.

I have some tange pinch forks coming for it, in chrome - I reckon I may leave them that way with chrome bars to match  :-\

Need to sort your stuff out dude also Joff 8)
