I've ran out of hard disk space so I'll have to clear some space by backing up some footage to DVD-R.

after an eventful and enjoyable day i came back with 6 less spokes and minus 1 innertube than i went with. only built the new rims & spokes last week

It was great to see all you Old Skoolers yesterday, including those of you doing cruiser 
I was fairly happy with my riding considering how rough I was just a few days ago - obviously time on the bike this year has paid off.

I was pants and don't mind admitting it... 

2 months without riding really showed...  with limited ability and zero practice I was left well and truly down the pack...

As my teacher used to say "Must try harder!!"... plenty of winter practice is on the schedule and Team BURNERWORLD will hopefully make a real impression on the Summer Series.

I did have to rush off as the finals were taking an age to organise... but before I left I witnessed something that was worth the fuel and time alone...

I don't know what was best... Fergus' smile as he headed down the final straight knowing he was about to win!! or Bren's reaction as his son crossed the line!! it was a touching moment and for a second or two I was quite jealous.... a great moment for Dad and Son.

Dave - the OS racing is getting faster and closer; most people quicker than when I started riding again less than a year ago 

I must admit that I didn't catch Fergus racing but it is great to see the kids really getting their teeth into racing. All good for the future

I'm quicker than I was when I started racing OS in 2007...    was just a bad day at the office.... but guys are getting quicker and its good for the competition 

Must try and stay on the bike though...
